All Who Wait Upon the Lord - February 3, 1956

Photo by: Lucrecia Mouser
Yea, all who wait upon the Lord,
Shall mount as eagles high;
Shall run and not be weary,
Shall feel God always nigh.
Their strength shall be renewed each day,
Their cup shall overflow;
And daily they shall be my friend,
A blessing here below.

To wait upon the Lord, aright,
Shall strength and wisdom give;
And furthermore it shall indeed,
Help us to nobly live.
The more we wait upon the Lord,
The better is our chance;
To overcome all evil here,
Our souls to bless, enhance.

Yea, all who wait upon the Lord,
Shall bear the fruit of love;
And furthermore shall gentle be,
As gentle as a dove.
And when the silver cord shall loose,
The golden bowl shall break;
No fears shall haunt our souls, my dear,
For God our souls shall take.
