Faith, Hope and Love - February 6, 1956

"Now abideth faith, hope and love,"
But greatest of them all;
Is love, for God is love, you know,
He saves us from the fall.
O, faith, how wonderful thy works,
By faith we understand;
By faith great miracles are wrought,
As was in Canaan's land.

O, blessed hope, what would we do,
Without thy blessed aid?
When things seem dark and very blue,
You brighten up the day.
Yet greater is love, we are told,
And love shall never fail;
The floods may come, the winds may blow,
With mighty, mighty gales.

But love shall stand majesticly,
What e'er may be the test;
And now abides faith, hope and love,
But love is always best.
O, blessed love, our souls refresh,
Yea, make us pure and good;
Teach us how, by faith, hope and love,
To build a brotherhood.
