Come let us seek to understand,
The power of our God;
Who comforts all His children here,
With His staff and His rod.
He is a Shepherd kind and good,
And in the pastures green;
He feeds His sheep and waters them,
Within the quiet streams.
He makes our cups to overflow,
With joy, all glory be;
Unto the mighty God on high,
The One, expressed in Three.
God's power is unlimited,
And omniscient is He;
No need for us to live in sin,
For He can set us free.
Not only can He set us free,
But He can keep us dear;
From falling into sin's quagmire,
Where lust and greed appear.
God is the Husbandman we're told,
He purgeth everyone;
Who bears the fruit of love and joy,
Within His only Son.
