So many things with beauty
rare,
The lake, the spruce, the
pine;
The mountains reach, O so
high,
Are gifts from the Divine.
The cattle on the thousand
hills,
The beast that roam the wild;
The birds that sail the blue
and sing,
The little lamb so mild.
No tongue can tell us all the
things,
God gives to us my dear;
How grateful we should be to
Him,
And always we should fear;
The true and Living God each
day,
While working or at rest;
For He has planned for each
of us,
His very, very best.
A million things He gives to
us,
Above them all, is one;
Which towers out above them
all,
The gift of His own Son.
Christ Jesus died on Calvary,
He died for you and me;
That we might have life at
its best,
For all eternity.
